shoe size:
25 (Clown) Hey ladies you know what they say about guys with big feet.
hobbies:
When I'm not writing or working I spend my time making my children's lives miserable. Like showing my gun collection to my teenage daughters boyfriend or telling my five-year-old that Barney lures little children into his place to eat them. I also get credit cards and max them out and then give them to my wife and tell her she can go shopping.
hometown:
I am from Opp, Alabama. They call it the city of Opportunity. I moved because I couldn't find work and there was no more money left in welfare.
currently living in:
Savannah Georgia. There is lots of opportunity here. The opportunity to be robbed, mugged, sexually molested, attend the worst schools in the nation....
job/career:
Savannah Morning News. I train paper carriers in the art of throwing your paper in the bushes next door.
Writing:
To you, what is writing?
It is something other people do well, and I wish I could as well.
What started you into writing?
My girlfriend left a copy of a story she was working on beside my bed. When my wife found it I told her I was starting a new career.
How long have you been writing?
Three years
Is writing a passion, and what do you get from it?
A passion? No. A passion is what I feel for Elle McPherson. Writing is my sanity. I write to release frustrations and to express things I have problems saying. Such as "Hey Elle, want to come to my place?"
Who's your biggest inspiration?
My wife finding out that my girlfriend left that darned notebook by my bed. If I stop writing she may put two and two together.
Reading works from others:
favorite style:
Short stories. I was born with a lack of concentration. After 1000 words or so I forget what the subject was.
favorite genre:
Okay, I feel slighted. Where's humor? Humor is an art form all it's own. Any writer can tell a story or record the facts but to write with the single idea of making others smile, now that's a challenge. I don't write horror but I like horror. Imagine writing with hopes of scaring the pants off someone. Now that would be a funny sight.
favorite author(s):
Steven King and Dave Berry. I keep hoping they will team up to scare the pants off me while I laugh about it.
recommended works:
"The Stand" by all means. I truly believe this is not only the best thing Stephen King has ever written but possible the best book ever. Try anything by Dave. Next to me he is the funniest man alive.
Going places:
where's your favorite place to be in real life?
Well lets see, the local red light district use to be way up on my list but I kinda like the local Comedy House also. I like watching people laugh especially when they're caught off-guard and blow beer out their nose.

This is a must-visit because I work there.

You hate advertising for other folks (we do?) but this is a great search engine for humor.

And of course another shameless plug for my site
And Personally...
I like this guy - he ask more questions than my mother-in-law. (Like that's possible)
Okay, let's see. I had a Granny who couldn't remember my name so she called me Bubba. I thought this was special until I found out everyone in the south has the same nickname. Who came up with the Nick part you reckon, suppose his real name was Bubba.
I am a strange person. I went to the seventh grade in school and had to drop out. I lived to read and wanted to become a writer. Really. Only that education thing was in the way and I had to do what all young men with no education do. I started a business and worked like crazy. Yeah, you're right I had no life...
I think I was about thirty-nine when I went insane and decided to write. Only there was still that nasty education thing. So I started writing anyway. No one would read it but I wrote day and night. I tried to learn the grammar stuff, but you still can't teach an old dog.
After I gave up and started writing with a southern dialect things began to fall together. I still couldn't spell or write proper English but fewer folks cared. I helped my friends start the EWG Presents Webzine, which is doing very well and my partner and I are starting a newsletter for people who read and/or write humor.
