Lustre
Maybe I deserve the flaccid lackluster experience my life has brought me. I probably did something wrong in the past and now this is payback. That would infer some overarching judgement or karma is at hand. Meh. I’m certainly not at the reigns anymore.
Utility
If I can’t be enjoyed, at least I can be useful.
Ride
Inasmuch as I like the variety, there are times when riding this roller coaster is exhausting. Some days, I just want to chew through the restraints and fly off at the next peak. But we know that’s just a bad idea. Better to get off at the station and ride the merry go round instead.
