Writing:
To you, what is writing?
Getting these damned voices in my head to SHUT UP. Also, it's therapy. It gives me a chance to be moved by Eros (the drive to create or procreate), or let myself be blessed or cursed by the muses.
I also write because I think someday it would get me chicks.

What started you into writing?
Well, honestly, I wrote a little stuff back in gradeschool, as required coursework, but never wrote elsewhere.
Finally, one day in my second year at college, I got so frustrated with trying to understand myself and everything else that I bought a thick notebook and just started writing. It got the crap in my head down on paper where I could keep track of things and understand what the hell was going on in there.
Later on, I started venturing into poetry. It stuck, and I love it, sometimes. People keep telling me I have a gift, but after all the shit I write, I keep believing that it's only a curse. Honest.

How long have you been writing?
Writing poetry, actively, as a hobby...five years. (has it been that long?!)
Is writing a passion, and what do you get from it?
Yes it is. It's therapy and release, mostly.
What's your biggest inspiration?
Sex. And lots of it... Ok, that's an exaggeration. Whaddya expect from a guy who's been involuntarily celibate for over two years? (that sod...he could just go out and pay for some...)

Reading works from others:
favorite style:
I like poetry, but I don't read much of it. I also like a lot of non-fiction, but that's drab. All in all, I don't read...
favorite genre:
in fiction: science fiction. in poetry: anything after 1950 or around early-american times
favorite author(s):
David Brin, Walt Whitman, Bob Dylan
recommended works:
"Earth" by David Brin: a deep, multicharacter thrill
"Tarantula", the only published book of poetry by Bod Dylan
"1984" by George Orwell (I finally finished it last year)

Going places:
where's your favorite place to be in real life?
Well, there's a few places: in my bed, in my car, in my dreamworld of mysteries and fading moments, IHOP, or my hometown Denny's on a weekend night.
